CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

In today’s world, innovation of product is a fast rising industry. Producers or manufacturers always

find a new product to introduce in the market. And the market in return would like today’s new trend

which gives entrepreneurs more chances of having good business through the new product they

innovate.

Tofu is a good source of protein and contains all nine essential amino acids. It is also a valuable

plant source of iron and calcium and the minerals manganese and phosphorous. In addition to this, it

also contains magnesium, copper, zinc and vitamin B1.

Cheese is a great source of calcium, fat and protein. It also contains high amounts of vitamins A

and B-12, along with zinc, phosphorus and riboflavin. Cheese made from the milk of 100 percent glass-fed

animals is the highest in nutrients and also contains omega 3-fatty acids with vitamin K-2.

Lumpia in general are Chinese pastries comparable to popiah which involves placing different

ingredients in a roll or wrapper that is either served fresh or fried. In the Philipines, Lumpiyang sariwa or

fresh spring rolls essentially a mix of different minced vegetables that is wrapped in the lumpia roll.

To introduce a new kind of lumpia in the market that will be beneficial to the entire aspiring

customer that will reach their expectations due to the affordability, uniqueness and flexibility of tofu and

cheese lumpia.
 To serve a nutritious lumpia that will give a lot of benefits that will help Protein also a good

nutrient that will manage to improve the muscle. Especially for the children on their development age. A

healthy muscle can lead them to build a good body and eliminate unwanted fat.

This business plan study was carried out during the first semester of the academic year 2020- 2021

and it will end in the same semester with the same academic year.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The researcher objective is to be one of the successful business enterprises that provides healthy

and affordable quality of tofu and cheese store in the Laguna and also if any chance to give an

opportunity to get known international. The enterprise also provides health quality dishes in tofu and

cheese store that would give benefits to the customers and would generate sufficient income for the

vendors. And also to earn good financial returns for its owners, and also to give satisfaction to the

customers with healthy and affordable quality dishes that would surely love by all Filipinos and also for

the neighborhood country.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The researcher believed that the study can be beneficial and significant to the following persons or

group of individuals.

RESEARCHER

The researcher acquired new skills and knowledge that they can use in their profession. This research can

enlighten their thinking with regards to the reality of life especially as we walk towards the path of the business

world.

STUDENTS

The ending will also serve as a guide for those students that are willing to conduct a research study

that is related with this study.

ENTREPRENEURS

Entrepreneurs known as innovators with the help of this study they can enhance their skill and

creativeness.

COMMUNITY

By understanding the needs and wants of residents, this study will be beneficial to the residents of Sta. Cruz

Laguna is purchasing yet with high quality and new variety of vases in the market.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION

This study will be limited to investigating whether the cheesy tofu roll is acceptable in the market

if it will be beneficial through determining if the product is profitable as it new in the market. The study

will be conducted in Laguna State Polytechnic University Santa Cruz Campus during the 1 st semester of the

academic year 2020 – 2021. All gathered data or information will be useful for innovation the product to

enhance the taste and texture. The fifty (50) respondents will be randomly selected citizens of Sta cruz

Laguna to make sure if cheesy tofu roll will be profitable in the market.
