Greetings from the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies - Transportation Science
Society of the Philippines - Mapua Student Chapter (EASTS-TSSP-MSC)!

The EASTS – TSSP – MSC is one of the official organizations in Mapua University that concerns
transportation research and how to solve them through research tours, student conferences, and
the likes and also addresses transportation as an integral part of the engineering discipline.

We are pleased to inform you that the EASTS-TSSP-MSC will be hosting a 3-day event entitled,
TRANSMIT: Transportation Summit 2021 with the theme, “Pioneering Transport Safety
Systems Toward the Better Normal" that will be conducted on November 20, 21, and 28, 2021,
via Zoom Cloud Meetings.

TRANSMIT 2021 will cater to attendees of not just students but also professionals concerning
transportation. Moreover, this event aims to: (1) highlight the key issues of the transportation
industry in the Philippines entering the new normal; (2) provide a platform for possible solutions
to the challenges that the country is currently facing; (3) raise awareness towards the impacts of
the current global pandemic on transportation safety; and (4) promote transportation studies to
students across the country.

The event will be composed of three (3) activities for students, such as the Transwhiz (Quiz bee),
Debate, and the Infographics Poster Making.

With that, we would like to invite your organization to participate in our event through your
members and officer’s participation in our activities, as mentioned earlier. Each activity has the
following registration fees:

Transwhiz (Quiz Bee) - Team registration with 3 members and 1 substitute P500.00
Debate (Asian Parliamentary) - Team registration with 3 members P500.00
Infographics Poster Making - Individual registration P200.00

NOTE: Competition registration fees are already inclusive of the 3-day event and certificate of

invited guest speakers. The registration fee for attendees are as follows:
Student Attendee Fee : P100.00
Professional Attendee Fee: P350.00
Mapua Alumni Fee: P300.00
