1. How does the market behave towards Wellness and Exercises?

 The overall wellness and health care market in India was estimated at Rs. 490 billion and
wellness services alone contributed to 40% of this market.

 It consisted of Consumers, wellness service and equipment providers, adjacent

 The consumers of wellness mainly comprised of young population who possessed rising
income levels. Increasing need to look good and feel good, led these young consumers
to seek wellness solutions to meet lifestyle challenges.
 Providers offered wellness services and products to meet the hygiene, curative and
enhancement needs of the consumer.
2. Is  BPL and its products doing well?

3. How different is MHG from Pro MTG?

 The new product called Multi home gym (MHG) was planned by BPL as a modification of the
present Pro- Multi Gym equipment.

 MHG was targeted at home market, who wanted fitness more than muscle building. But, the
new equipment planned (MHG) had multiple exercising and different muscle strengthening
facilities also and was expected to save resources and effort at the customer end, from buying
different types of exercising devises.

 MHG was also different compared to the ones available in the market. The present models
available in the market allowed exercises for a few muscles only and the user had to use other
equipment for exercising on other muscles
4. Is it advisable for BPL to launch MHG?
 Yes, but it can be positioned as Cardio Fitness equipment, stressing on 5 muscle training i.e.
