RE: Ohio GOP Senate Primary Survey Takeaways

Recent survey data reveals three key takeaways in the Republican Primary election for U.S.
Senate in Ohio.

1. Jane Timken is climbing on the ballot and is now within striking distance of Josh
Mandel. Timken has made notable gains on the ballot in the past few months, while
every other candidate — including Mandel, Vance and Gibbons — has stalled out.

Full-Field Ballot Sept. Nov. Shift

Josh Mandel 22% 21% -1
Jane Timken 11% 17% +6
J.D. Vance 9% 10% +1
Mike Gibbons 12% 13% +1
Matt Dolan 6% 4% -2
Bernie Moreno 3% 3% --
Total don't know/none 37% 32% -5

2. The more voters get to know Timken, the more they like her and view her
favorably. Timken’s image is more than 2:1 positive and she continues to gain traction
with voters as her awareness level and positive image rating have both increased.

Timken Name ID Sept. Nov. Shift

Jane Timken
Favorable 19% 29% +10
Unfavorable 11% 12% +1

3. J.D. Vance appears to have a bit of a glass jaw. Vance has taken a huge hit as voters
learn more about him. His image is now upside down, with more having an unfavorable
opinion than a favorable one.

Vance Name ID Sept. Nov. Shift

J.D. Vance
Favorable 20% 22% +2
Unfavorable 12% 26% +14
