 1] Ethnic Prints – Established in 1990. They do their block printed on sarees, shawls, dupattas
and dresses. Their production is done in Kutch and is sold in Mumbai. They do block printing,
resist tie dye, and bandhini on variety of products with wide range of colors.

2] Babitas Boutique – Founded by Babita Bhatla, Artisan of Ministry of Textiles. They are located
in Dehradun and their production also takes place there. They sell zardozi embroidery work,
handloom,brocade dress material, dupattas, only kurtis,Sarees and nightwears. They don’t have
their website but they only participate in exhibitions to display their work for selling purpose.

3] Begum’s Chikankari – Founded by Salim Shaikh in 1978. They sell variety of Chikankari kurti
pant set, dupattas in variety of colors. They have their store in Mumbai as well as Dubai. Their
production process takes place in Lucknow.

4] Reweaves – Founded by Reena Shukla in 2018. They sell brocade and handloom, tissue silk
sarees, kadhua work sarees banarsi organza silk sarees Katan silk sarees from UP, dupattas, suits,
kurtis, lehengas and even fabrics.

5] Lakshmiz Chikan Collection : The founder of the brand is Mrs. Anjanaa Jebbani in 2010. Shi
sells her products through exhibitions only. The production takes place in Luknow and is sold
through her social media and different exhibitions. She sells lucknowi suits, kurtis and dupattas.
She also does customized work as well as per the client request as well as she creates in bulk
with wide range of colours.

Apart from these, there were many other amazing brands selling wide range of design collection from
Indian traditional to western wear including jewelry.
 CONCLUSION

This visit was one of its kind to get practical exposure and deep understanding about brands
and their style by analysing them and researching more on their products. The collection of
each brand was different, be it the design orthe prints chosen. Critical analysis was done for
each brand. Each brand had their own taste and variety to offer. The designs and colors were
very rich showcasing the heritage and culture of India through their brand. Many brands were
selling products which were modern and yet rooted to traditional be it using handloom fabric
or traditional embroidery. Many visitors there seem to enjoy the event. This was indeed one of
its kind festive shopping spree experience.
