Search for Most Outstanding Teacher of the Year

(Teacher 1-3 Category)
Who are eligible to join
1. Teachers with at least 3 years of experience.
2. The average performance rating for the past 3 year should be OUTSTANDING.
Who are disqualified from joining?
1. Teachers who have been awarded with similar recognition for the past 3 years either in Division, Regional and
National.
2. Teachers who have been sanctioned for the violation of administrative rules and policies of DepEd and have
been convicted of any criminal or civil cases.
3. Member of the Appraisal Committee.
Evidentiary Requirements:
1. Performance Rating for the Last Three Rating Periods.
2. Service Record
3. For claim of points, each criterion must be supported by necessary documents such as project proposal for
innovation with terminal report, certificate of membership, Certificate of Resource Speakership duly signed by
proper authority/ ies and/ or other documents to support your claim within the three past recent years.
4. A 3- minute video should be submitted on or before October 2 to johnkhevin.gambal@deped.gov.ph . It must
contain introduction, best experience as a teacher and dream for the Philippine Education.
Criteria for Judging
I. Occupational Competence and Job Effectiveness 60%
- Performance Rating 30pts
- Creative and Innovative Output in the Workplace 30pts

II. Professional and Community Involvement 20%

- Membership and participation to community 10pts
Organization (such as ICPSSTEA)
- Resource Speakership in Seminars 10pts

III. Personal Qualities and Character 20%

- Generally known to be of Good Reputation 10pts
Good Moral Character
- Good human relations to his/ her colleagues 10pts

Awardees:
1. Applicants who garnered 75 points are already considered as Outstanding Teachers, however, only the teacher
with the highest point will be declared as the 2021 Most Outstanding Teacher of RNTVS.
