Egerton University students are scheduled to conduct their Field/lndustrial attachment from July to
August, 2019. We would appreciate if you could allow the following students, to do their attachment in
your organization.

Field/lndustrial attachment is session when students go out to the market-place to get exposed and
familiarize themselves with various working environments. It is a time when students are expected to
acquire practical training skills and to have an understanding of the environmental, economic and social
influences on management and work performance.

While at the organization/institution, the student will be under your direct control and will be expected to do
the following:

"Transforming Lives through Quality Education"

l. To understand the History, Vision and Mission of the respective Institution/Organization.
 2. To understand the short — and long term objectives and policies of the respective
Institution/Organization.

3. To appreciate the challenges faced by the respective Institution/Organization and how these
challenges are overcome.

4. To participate actively in the day-to-day activities of the respective Institution/organization.

5. To use personal initiative to contribute positively to the respective Institution/Organization

Egerton University Staff will visit the students to assess their performance and any information about their
conduct and performance should be passed to them for follow-up.
