Equipment consists of power supply module, MON module, DSP module, Analog input module,
opto-coupler input module, tripping output module, and signal output module. The definition and
application of each module and its terminal is introduced as follows:
NOTE: Terminal definitions are represents with its slot position and pin number. For
example, contact 1301-1302 means terminal 01-02 of the module at the slot B13, i.e. 13
represents the slot position of module, 01(02) represents the pin number on the module.

Two AC analog input modules (NR1401) are equipped at slot B04 and slot B06 positions
respectively.

WARNING: The rated voltages of voltage transformers on the AC analog input module at
slot 04 position are 100V, and those of voltage transformers on the AC analog input
module at slot 06 position are 100V (for the first three VTs) and 200V ( for the last three
VTs).

For the module configuration of PCS-978 in the project, two NR1521A modules are equipped with
being installed adjacently in slot B13 and slot B14, and then tripping output contacts controlled by
logic setting are list in the following table.
