ACTIVITY 5: NOLI ME TANGERE (GROUPWORK)

GUIDELINES:
Assign groupmates on the division of readings (by chapters) in Noli Me Tangere.
Choose a theme presented in your assigned readings for Noli Me Tangere.
Examples: comparison of women in the nineteenth century and in the present; social change;
colonization; church ministers; social hierarchy; patriotism; social reform.
Create a 200-300 word reflection essay on your chosen theme and relate it to current socio-
political issues.
You can write in English or Filipino. No Taglish.

MECHANICS:
Title page: Name of members arranged alphabetically, code and schedule.
Content: Reflection essays. Provide a title at the top of each essay. Provide the chosen theme,
writer of the essay, and chapter/s assigned to the writer, at the bottom of each essay.
Arial 11, justified, 1.5 line spacing, normal style, normal margins. 8.5 x 11 (short).
Strictly PDF format.

Suggestion:
For collaborative work, use Google Docs.
Everyone can edit the files simultaneously. This is to prevent pabigat-tagabuhat system.

SUBMISSION:
Strictly PDF format only.

CRITERIA:
100 PTS
50% for the relevance of the theme
40% for the content and analysis of the explanation
10% for the organization and clarity of thoughts
