Title of Micro-Project
“Water Tank Indicator "
As in this case the microcontroller is used in the active low region (which means it
considers 0-2 volts for HIGH and 3-5 volts for LOW) now the output of transistor
which is 4.2v approximately will be considered as LOW by the microcontroller and
hence the default value given by microcontroller to the seven segment display is 0
which indicates as the tank is empty.
In this project while the water level reaches the 7th level i.e. last but one level along
with display in seven segment a discontinuous buzzer is activated which warns user
that tank is going to be full soon.

Title of Micro-Project
“Water Tank Indicator"
1.0 Rationale:
The operation of this project is very simple and can be understood easily. In our
project “water level indicator” there are 3 main conditions:
Pump controller
Sump pump
Irrigation control
5.0 Actual procedure follow:
Step 1: With wires connect Arduino pin TX to RX pin in the GSM module.
Step 3: Connect the Arduino pin GND to GND pin GSM module Do not try to
power the GSM module from Arduino’s 5V output pin to 5V input of GSM
module.
Step 4: The Real Time Clock (RTC) module will track the time of arrival of water
and termination of water supply. For this project a board will be incorporated
for the students to put the components together there be able to see how the
wires are connected and the relationship between the Arduino and the circuits.
6.0 Actual Resources Used :
2. Communication skill
3. Documentation skill
4. Team interaction
