the Christmas Stations for the support of the
Priests of the Parish, which took place last
weekend. If you wish, you can still contribute to
this collection - There are envelopes in the
envelope boxes & also at the Church Porch.
Alternatively, you can drop your donation into the
Parish Office or you can donate on-line or
through your bank. This is one of the five times
during the year you give to the direct suppor t of
the priests of the parish. Your support is greatly
appreciated. Please note there are collection
buckets in the Churches at Mass times for all
2020 Collections.

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of his
Ordination
Congratulations to Fr. Michael Connell,
who celebrates the 50th anniversary of his
Ordination on the 8th December 2021. Fr.
Michael will celebrate Mass in St. John’s
Church, Killenard at 10.30am on
Wednesday 8th of December. All are
welcome to attend, especially those who
were there on the day 50 years ago. Fr.
Michael served as a Salesian Father for
many years in Southern Africa.

Loving God, on this Advent night we turn to you
in prayer. As we wait for the coming of your
Son, we ask you to bless our family.
Comfort us with your healing and help us to
welcome your light into our lives, a light that
gives us the gift of peace.
Help us to forgive and to love, and to bring your

In his letter, Amoris Laetitia, Pope Francis

words, but keep repeating them, day after
day…never let the day end without making

taking place shortly, but the club is appealing for
