Documenting and managing all staff records and ensuring they are complete,
accurate, securely well-kept and up to date
Advising the management on matters related to human resource management
Ensuring staff conduct and discipline is maintained in all the departments /units
and thorough but fast conclusion of staff disciplinary cases in collaboration with
the Human Resource Managers and Company Directors.
Preparing, reviewing, adjusting and approving staff remuneration payments on
monthly basis.
Approving staff leave applications and payment of leave allowance
Assisting the CEO with administrative duties in the organisation
Undertaking human resource planning for all staff to ensure that they are

Coordinating staff Recruitment & Selection, Orientation & Placement to
respective sites and departments.
Ensuring all new members of staff are properly inducted in the operations of the
organization.
Conducting staff background checks and follow up to ensure receipt of responses
to reference checks from referees of new hires before they fall due for
confirmation.
Preparing confirmation letters for staff due for confirmation after expiry of their
probation period as well as those being confirmed into new appointments.
Manage the local introduction of new or revised Human Resources Policies and
Procedures to support business processes
Manage staff contracts through contract renewal and contract non-renewal
processes
Manage casual and temporary staff engagement
Disciplinary Process Management.
Attending to legal matters such as labour issues and preparation of documents in
case of court cases.

During my internship period I was retained for 4 months to conduct a headcount that was
ongoing and was performed by the Human Resource Department.
As a human resource practioner I performed the following duties;
I was placed at a county public hospital to re-register the all the existing staffs
With the record collected from all the county institutions i fed the data in the
computer for easy retrieval.
