It is to inform that, as per the Hon’ble NGT in OA No.360/2018 vide order
dt.05.07.2021, the Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Eluru has convened a
video conference with Stakeholder Departments on 04.09.2021 and the progress made
in thematic areas as on 31.07.2021 was discussed and prepared in consolidate
statement covering achievement made in thematic areas and gap yet to be achieved.
The same was communicated to all Stakeholder Departments on 14.10.2021 with the
indicative gap analysis of action plan for achieving the progress in thematic areas.

The District Authority has conducted a review meeting on 21.10.2021 with the
Stakeholder Departments and the Chairman of the committee reviewed the gaps in
thematic areas and directed Stakeholder Departments to fix the time line for
achievement of progress.

This office has communicated the minutes of the meeting held on 21.10.2021
and the Consolidated Statement of District Environmental Plan (Status as on
21.10.2021) covering various thematic areas (Annexure – I) on 17.11.2021, for taking
necessary action.
 In this regard, all the Municipal Commissioners are requested to submit updated
status on various thematic areas i.e., Municipal Solid Waste processing facilities,
Secured landfill sites and Ban of single use plastic items to this office without fail, for
furnishing the same to CPCB towards compliance of Hon’ble NGT order.
