Objective Didactic units’ contribution

Understanding of oral, written and audiovisual discourses from communicative Exposed to oral texts in all the units
situations typical of the school environment, related to their experiences and
interests, and interpreting them so as to respond effectively to different
communicative situations.
Expressing themselves and interacting orally and in writing with respectful attitude
and cooperative manner in order to respond adequately, coherently and correctly to
common communicative needs, on topics treated in the classroom and with the help
of models.
Reflecting on the system of foreign language learning and, in a guided way, applying
knowledge and basic rules of language in the production and understanding of texts,
thus promoting their appropriate use, while using the transferable knowledge
between languages.
Enjoying simple literary written texts, oral literature and audiovisual media, mostly
tied to the oral literary tradition so as to understand the cultural linguistically rich
diversity of the world and the human condition, and develop aesthetic sensibilities.

Using the foreign language to discover other realities and other cultures, showing a
positive attitude of understanding, respect and collaboration.

Using, in a guided way, information and communication technologies for obtaining


information, communicating and cooperating in foreign languages.

Initiating the reflection on their own learning processes so as to transfer knowledge


and communicative strategies acquired via other languages while promoting self-
regulation and self-study patterns.
