ANALYZE
Answer the following question.

1. In activity, what do you consider as the 3 most outstanding significant personal

qualities of the teacher you choose as your case? Why do you consider these as
outstanding?

a. Dignified – As a teacher, you need to be a good role model for them, so you need to
be respected and has a good dignity.
b. Knowledgeable – Teachers conveys and relays knowledge to the learners, so
teachers should and need to be knowledgeable enough to teach efficiently and
effectively.
c. Humble – Being humble as a teacher is crucial, teachers need to have a good social
skills. They need to be capable of communicating with everyone, and if you are humble,
people won’t be intimidated by your presence.

2. Which of these qualities do you have? Do you think you can fit as a good teacher
someday? Why? Describe yourself.
If I were to be asked, I am knowledgeable and humble, I’m still building up myself
to become a person who can fit as a teacher. We all have made mistakes that can
cause for our image to be stained, so am I. But we should learn from these mistakes
and always remember that we all have chances.

REFLECT

Good teacher are role models, whether in school, at home or in the community. From
the teachers that you had from elementary to college, did the personal qualities that
they possess, help you learn better as a student?

Identify one personal characteristics of your model teacher that has made a great
impact in your life as a learner. Reflect and describe how this quality influenced you.
- For me it is her being knowledgeable, because she is open for learning
new things even if it is from her students, that is why the class are having
an active conversation. If I am to become a teacher in the near future, I
will be applying the things that I learned from Ma’am Formalejo. Being
open for new knowledge is a great quality of a teacher, because as we
know that change is constant, teachers like her will not be outdated by the
time because they are adaptable to changes.

My Teacher, My Hero

It was a fun thing observing a class discussion even if it’s just an online
meeting. I can see the determination of the students in participating in the class, and
so as the Ma’am Formalejo whose doing all her best in providing her student a quality
education as possible. She is never hard to the student, one of her assets as a
teacher is her soft and caring way of talking and voice. She has always discussed her
lessons with her soft and calming voice. She is also good on delivering the lessons
and topics to her students, but still open for the knowledge coming from her students.
All in all I can say that Ma’am Formalejo is an effective and professional teacher with
her good qualities as a person.
