 Setting

- Place: In the Barrio of San Miguel

- Time: The story happened during late at night.

 Characters

- Dr. Lazaro – a doctor who once lost his faith.

- Lazaro’s wife

- Ben Lazaro – Son of Dr. Lazaro who is devoted to God

- Pedro Esteban- A father who will do everything for his daughter

- Esteban’s wife

- The Baby of Esteban Family

 Plot

- The story was all about a doctor who lost faith in God because he already seen a lot of
deaths and patients who got a lot of complicated sickness such as cancer; even a baby. Der.
Lazaro wanted his son to be a Doctor but Ben wanted to be a priest. One day, Pedro
Esteban’s baby got into a very bad condition and called Dr. Lazaro to heal the baby but he
can’t do anything. The baby died and Dr. Lazaro saw his son, Ben baptized the baby. After
that, he realized a lot of things and bring his faith back to God.

 Conflict

- Character vs. Character

o The conflict is between Dr. Lazaro and Ben because he wants Ben, his son to be a
doctor while Ben wanted to be a priest.

- Man vs. Circumstances

o Because of the situation Dr. Lazaro experienced, he lost his faith.

 Theme

- Doubting toward faith can happen if a person experience too much darkness in his life.

 Moral Lesson

- Doubting faith will likely come when a crocked path happens but remember that god will
never leave us and use an instrument to help us in our life. Just like Ben and his father, Dr.
Lazaro,
