Hi! My name’s Kerry. I’m a teacher in a secondary school in France and I teach teenagers. And after school on
Wednesdays, I run a club for students who want to learn extra English. The students who come are 12 to 15 years old and
they do it because they want to take exams or so they can use English on holidays.

I love my job, but it isn’t easy! My students have a long day at school too and I teach them after that. There are 15
students in my club. We start at 4.30 and finish at 6.30 when we all leave for home! We have a break at about 5.30 and
then we have a drink and something to eat, but we always speak English.

I don’t teach much grammar, but they learn a lot of new words in English. I ask questions and they answer. They speak in
English all the time in the club and they do some homework for the next time. They usually do exercises and sometimes
they read books or we go out to a museum or even the shopping centre. They like watching English films and listening to
English music. I really like my students! We talk about TV, sports and other things they do in their free time. My job is
really interesting. They speak good English now, too.
