It is with great pleasure that I recommend Ivonne Carmona as a future teacher and
educator! Ivonne was in my development course in the fall of 2019 as well as my Literacy
course in the fall of 2021 at Arizona State University. As her professor, I can speak to her
character and work ethic. She is an outstanding student and citizen! Ivonne took a
proactive and facilitative role in our class and was always willing and ready to help
students and faculty.

Ivonne was eager to learn and possesses a drive for knowledge that is intrinsically
motivated. She always positively contributed in class and looked for opportunities to learn
the curriculum while helping other students master the content during her lessons. Her
content knowledge is as developed as that of an experienced teacher.

Ivonne is a dedicated, hard working, and positive individual who is adept at dealing
tactfully with people and difficult situations. She utilizes strong problem-solving skills as
she considers the needs and concerns of all students in the class. She had the respect of her
fellow students and should work well with future colleagues.

I highly recommend Ivonne Carmona! She has the dedication, content knowledge, and work
ethic to succeed in any program of study and will make a great teacher and member of the
community.

Sincerely,

Nicole Trombley, M.Ed
