4. Project Summary/Objectives

The best companion of any student is a pen and paper. Pen is everything that a student need
in order to write what he knows in an exam. When used correctly, this can get someone far in life. It is
the most valuable asset that a literate person possesses. It is a device that allows students to scribble
their thoughts on a piece of paper. On the other hand, paper, can be utilized in so many different ways,
it is the perfect tool for schools. Students can use it to take notes on the teacher's lesson.

Pen and Paper plays an important role in the lives of every students, especially in today’s
pandemic, in Modular Distance Learning. It acts as a weapon and a shield, allowing them to continue
their education despite the pandemic. In line with this, the project “Bolpen at Papel:Tulay sa
Kinabukasan” was created with the help of Tuaca High School faculty and staff members and the
support of several generous donors. This project aims to assist the start of the school year 2021-2022
by providing school supplies to Tuaca High School students, who will then be inspired to continue
learning and emphasized the meaning of education as a key to success.
5. Description/Mechanics:

The Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the global educational system, affecting
the lives of the students. Modular Distance Learning is one of several options for continuing education
despite the crisis. MDL is a pen-and-paper approach in which students write their own responses to
their modules on their own paper. Considering how financially precarious people's lives have become
as a result of the pandemic, purchasing pen and paper is a difficult task. As a result, the project
"Bolpen at Papel: Tulay sa Kinabukasan" will be of great assistance to the students. This project
focuses on providing school supplies to all Tuaca High School students as their major need. The
teachers planned to create an envelope containing paper and a pen. This project is vital in assisting
students in obtaining the higher-quality education they require.
