What is your key takeaway from the session? How do you plan to apply it in the future?

My key takeaway from the session I've attended was that it benefits me in terms of doing research. I
gained knowledge and become upskilled. There were a lot of things to consider and the takeaway
that strikes me most is hedging and text mining which I absolutely agree with because it helps us to
become better writers. Also, I learned how to speed up paraphrasing by using synonyms, which is
important to avoid plagiarizing sources. Lastly, avoid secondary citations.

With the research skills I've acquired from the session, I'm going to conduct some research practices
to hone my research and writing skills, such practices includes learning how to recognize a quality
source, verify information from several sources and stay organized with the information you have in
some way to prevent yourself from losing something or not being able to cite something properly.

My key takeaways in today’s session is how may I construct my research paper to avoid may
errors,by writing a manuscript I need to consider the words or sentence that I use,usually I always
used the 'it' word to all my paper works but I learned that I need to minimize the word 'it' for much
clear and concise manuscript,also another takeaways is avoid putting an example word beside the
word itself it may lead to confusion to the readers also to your research aim,using a short sentence
may help you and the readers to get the exact idea that writer wants us to know,another one is
proper indicating of numbers in our paper I honest keep this topic in mind cause I usually confuse on
how may I write the sentence with a number it should be a numeral form or word form,I lighten up
that numbers is need to be written in word especially if you put in the first sentence of your
manuscript. I can use this learnings from todays session in the future when I conduct my own
research paper and a big help to all the future educators to create and write a research paper in tge
future works.

As future educators, we all need to produce written work. Essay, Thesis, and other writing
assignments. as a student. I cannot claim to be good at building words or organizing information. I
have knowledge about it but not much of it. I also have weaknesses in writing. This event National

and international papers for students. It helped me to increase my understanding and make me
aware of how to write a correct and concise paper. It gives tips on how to attract the attention of the
readers. such as abbreviations, text mining, paraphrasing, in-text citation, hedging etc. which will
help you to write clearly and concisely. As a future teacher, I can apply this knowledge when I do my
master's and doctoral degrees, and I can also teach it to my future students.
