ACTIVITY 4 of Job Application Letter

Job Interview

Most companies hold an interview test for their employees to be, especially for the
job/position that requires higher qualification. Many organisations or institutions also use
an interview to select the qualified applicants.

In my experience, most people fail in the interview because of these reasons. Firstly, they
don’t perceive themselves positively. Secondly, they don’t show good understanding of
their future job. Thirdly, they don’t prepare themselves for the interview well.

A job interview or interview in general requires a very good communication skill. This skill
can be trained by anticipating the questions and practising how to respond to the
questions.

Prepare for the Interview

You don't need to memorize an answer, but do take the time to consider how you'll
respond. The more you prepare, the more confident you'll feel during a job interview.

There are varieties of question that range from question about you, your work history and
experience, the job, your goals, the new job, salary, and what you have to offer the employer.

Below are some examples of the questions, but for the best examples of how to respond,

Note: Questions about you can be very useful for gaining positive perspectives of yourself
and increasing your level of confidence.

Questions About You

Interviewers will ask questions about you to gain insight into your personality and to
determine whether you're a fit for both the job and the company. These are open-ended
questions which will give you the opportunity to show the employer that you're well-
qualified for the position.
