PROPOSAL FOR: FUNDRAISING EVENT

Project Name: BulSU Summer Music Fest 2018 Featuring “Orange & Lemons”

Project Management: Clair De Lune String Ensemble

1. Purpose The purpose of this document is to provide a brief overview of the

plan to stage a fundraising event in the form of a “Music Concert”. Clair De
Lune seeks permission to organize a fund-raising activity which will be
causative to the sustainability of our organization so that we continue to
render much needed youth empowerment of our students through music.

2. Objective Our main objective is to conduct a concert for a cause. The

proceeds will help us buy instruments and equipments needed to improve
our organization. There are some instruments that are too expensive for
the student to avail.

3. Discussion
In order to reach our main objective, we have planned an event which will
showcase the talents of our students here in Bulacan State University
(Bustos Campus) We are planning to invite a famous band (Orange and
Lemons) as the main act.

5. Detailed Overview of the Concert

We are planning to conduct the event from around 5:00-8:00pm

Here is our planned event activities during those period

Opening Ceremony
Inauguration by Dr. Ciriaco M. Garcia
5:30-6:30 Opening Act by BulSU local Bands
6:30-7:00 Clair De Lune (6-10 Songs)
7:00-8:00 Main Act “Orange & Lemons”

6. Proposed Breakdown of Financial Activities

Proposed Ticket Price = 150 pesos

10 pesos will be given to the class adviser or student orgs for each ticket
he/she sells + free secondary sponsor ticket will be given to the adviser

10 pesos will be given to the department office for each ticket sold by their
department

10 pesos will be given to the school administration office for every ticket
sold

Primary Sponsor Tickets 500 pesos each x 40 = 20,000

120 pesos x 1,500 students = 200,000 Target budget on hand
Corporate Sponsorship (optional)
Concessionaires (optional)

Talent Fees for Performers 50,000

Sound System with Band 30,000
Equipments and LED Screen
Advertisements, posters, tickets 5,000
Food and Catering (120 pax) 20,000
Chair rentals 500pcs and above 5,000
Total Expenses 110,000
Remaining Budget 90,000
7. Proceeds

We are planning to use the proceeds in purchasing the following

4 pieces Cello
Prices ranging from 10,000-11,000 pesos

1-piece Double Bass

Prices ranging from 25,000-30,000

1 Drum Set
Prices ranging from 25,000-30,000

grounds.

We would like to improve our performances in the future and make our school proud if
we can avail some expensive instruments. To make our goals come true, we will need to raise
funds as we are determined to upgrade the quality and professionalism in the field of music.

We are planning to invite the band “Orange & Lemons” to perform as our main act to
increase the interests of our students to attend the planned activity.
