Quality Planning and Standards

Identify the quality standards that will be used for the deliverables and how to satisfy
them.

Quality Assurance

Describe the processes chosen to evaluate overall project performance on a regular

basis to show that the project will satisfy the quality standards. Quality assurance
processes can show whether reviews took place, whether the “product” was tested and
whether the client was satisfied.

Quality Control

Monitor specific project results to determine if they meet the quality

standards and identifying ways to eliminate causes of unsatisfactory
performance. Project results include both “product” results, such as the
deliverables, and project management results, such as cost and schedule
performance.
