 Describe the Function of computer network.

(1) Resource sharing: hardware, software, data

 Resource sharing enables decentralized resources in the network to be used to
each other and greatly improves resource utilization.

(2) Data communication :

enables computers to transmit data and information to each other quickly and reliably
and to process data as needed.

(3) Load balancing and collaboration: through the network can alleviate the
contradiction of lack of user resources, so that the resources can be adjusted reasonably.

(4) Distributed processing:

a complex task can be divided into submodules that run different submodules
simultaneously on different computers in the network. Improve the efficiency and function
of the system. Many small functions have the performance of mainframe. The data needs
to be separated.

(5) Improving the reliability of computers

Improving the reliability of computers: computers are backup computers.
