    What is atMonitor?
    Quoting MacUpdate:

    atMonitor is the most advanced monitoring tool for Mac OS X that displays system activity in real-
    time. It is designed to allow quick assessment of computer’s state, but it is powerful enough to make it
    a core utility in anyone’s system troubleshooting toolkit.

    atMonitor offers a better alternative to Apple’s own “Activity Monitor” and combines the best of the
    features of many other existing monitoring utilities. It also adds an extensive list of unique features of
    its own. In addition to the standard CPU, GPU, VRAM, FPS, Disk and Network info, atMonitor
    allows interaction with processes, setting up triggers, logging, purging RAM and much more.

    atMonitor 2.8 helper process does not have root priviledges (sic)
    If you see this error message on launch:

    You can fix it with these commands in Terminal.app:

    sudo chown root "/Applications/atMonitor.app/Contents/Resources/atMonitorHelper"


    sudo chgrp admin "/Applications/atMonitor.app/Contents/Resources/atMonitorHelper"
    sudo chmod 4755 "/Applications/atMonitor.app/Contents/Resources/atMonitorHelper"

    You will most likely need to enter your admin password after the first sudo command.
    WARNING: If you do not know what those commands do, I would recommend against just blindly
    copying/pasting them because you read them on some website. Read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Setuid for some
    basic starter information.

    Checksum
    If you run the command:

    shasum -p -a 256 atMonitor-2.8b_2.8.zip

    you should get this result:

    8ba2f7118a9d08503bc55f54da1601ede3a6d1b7f4853b69ffd2ee3e47e1857d ?atMonitor-2.8b_2.8.zip

    If you get that checksum, it means (AS FAR AS I KNOW, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK) that the file has not been
    tampered with.
