Palestine-Israel conflict

Palestinians struggle every day in Palestine no matter what the situation is, losing loved

ones, false imprisonment, losing their homes, etc. People die every day for no reason, Israeli

forces kill Palestinians for absolutely no reason. Starting in 1947, Palestine was under British

rule, until the United Nations had a plan to split it into two, one for jews and the other for Arabs,

both being independent. Jewish people accepted the plan but most Arabs, who had been fighting

with the British and Jewish who had an interest in regions since the 1920s, opposed the plan and

didn’t accept it.

In 1948 Britain withdrew from Palestine and Israel took over and declared itself as an

independent state. Israel took over more than two-thirds of the country and left the west bank and

the Gaza strip to Palestinians. It opened up a conflict between Jews and Palestinians, lasting

until today. In the west bank, there is a massive wall separating wealthy jews and poor struggling

Palestinians. In 1967 the six-day war broke out between Israel and its neighbors Syria, Egypt,

and Jordan. Israel won and celebrated by praying at the western wall.

The first intifada took place in 1987, it was several riots and protests in the west bank and Gaza

strip. Palestinians weapons were rocks they would throw at the Israeli forces, and the Israeli

forces had rifles, hand grenades, and explosives. Palestinians don’t have an army to defend them

or any strong weapons to use. The first intifada ended in 1993 with the signing of the Oslo
accords which negotiated peace between Palestine and Israel. But that didn’t last long because

the second intifada, also known as the Aqsa Intifada, was where Israel raided the holy site of

Palestine.

In the past summer of 2021, riots and protests took place in Palestine, a lot of rockets were

dropped, a lot of hand grenades and explosives, and rifles were used. They threw smoke bombs

into the Aqsa Mosque, while people were in there. Arrested a lot of people, killed a lot of people,

children lost their parents and other family members. Social media has a lot of new news about

things that have been happening. But with all the protests that happened in the world, not just in

Palestine, nothing seems to work. Biden isn’t helping or doing anything to end it in fact he sends

about $3.8 billion in aid to Israel for ammunition or other materials.

Jews marked Palestinian homes with a red spray for any jews that are coming to the country so

they know that this house is a Palestinian house. ISIS did it, The Nazis did it and now jews are

doing it for the Palestinians. Jews also partied and chanted “death to Arabs” over and over again.

It happened at a flag march in Jerusalem, they also chanted “I hope your villages burn”. Israel

became a state a few years after the holocaust happen, jews were getting kicked out of their

houses and sent to concentration camps, and now they are kicking Palestinians out of their house

and chanting bad things against them.

Overall, the united states are quiet over this issue, if it wasn’t quite it would be all over the news

and people would be sending letters to Biden urging him to do something about it which never

happened. A lot of Palestinians suffered not only in Palestine but all over the world. They have

loved ones living there and might have heard that they passed away or the struggle of learning
that a kid died or anything. Just getting into the country is hard, it’s a whole big process to

getting it, personal experience.
