Origin of Sunan Giri

Good morning to you all, especially the judges, teachers and the audience. I'm Bunga
lidya pratiwi , i am from class SMP YPI Darussalam 1 Cerme.

Today, I'm going to tell you a story about " The origin of sunan Giri"
Sunan Giri is the son of sheikh maulana ishaq , a scholar of gujarat who
settled in Pasai , which is now called Aceh . His mother was the goddess
sekardadu , hindu princess Blambangan , East Java , which is named prabu
marvelous sembuyu . Sunan giri story began when the maulana ishaq interested to
visit East Java for wanting to spread the religion of Islam . after meeting with Sunan
Ampel who was his cousin , so he suggested last was preached in the area , south
of Banyuwangi , East Java . When it is , the last was being hit by the plague. The last
was even a princess , goddess sekardadu , go catch it. All famous doctors failed to
treat it .
Finally , the king announced a contest . ” Those who successfully treat the
goddess, if a man then he would betrothed to him. If the woman then he will be
sworn brother of the goddess ” he said
Earlier , there was no one who could win the contest . in the midst of despair ,
the pickpocket prabu sent Sengara looking for hermit magic . In that quest , the
governor had met with a hermit named resi kandayana magic . And , rishis who gave
information about the sheikh maulana ishaq . Apparently , maulana ishaq want to
treat goddess sekardadu , if prabu marvelous sembuyu and his family are willing to
convert to Islam .
After heal sekardadu goddess , maulana ishaq condition was met . The entire
royal family embraced Islam . After the goddess , married to maulana ishaq
sekardadu . Unfortunately , prabu marvelous sembuyu not become a Muslim with a
vengeance . instead he watched envy Islam maulana ishaq managed to right the
majority of its people . Then he tried to dissuade the symbols of Islam , even sent
men to kill maulana ishaq belief .
In the end , maulana ishaq leave and return to the last was Pasai , Aceh ,
because his soul was troubled . Before leaving he only advised the sekardadu
goddess who was seven months pregnant that her son was named Raden nails .
After a baby boy was born , prabu marvelous sembuyu melampiskan maulana ishaq
hatred to children by making it into lau in a crate .
According to the book the story of songo wali example , the chest was found
by the crew of a merchant ship gresik the sedan towards the island of Bali . The
baby is then handed over to the housekeeper ageng pinatih , the owner of the vessel

 Since then , a baby boy , later named Joko Samudro was nurtured and raised
by Nyi Ageng pinatih . Joko Samudro are deposited at the age of seven years at the
hermitage Sunan Ampel in Surabaya to learn the religion of Islam . Then , the child
was given the title by Sunan Ampel with the title ” Maulana ainul yaqin ” because of
his intelligence .
After many years of studying religion in the hermitage , george Samudro and
son Sunan Ampel , raden Makhdum maulana ibrahim ( Sunan bonang ) , Sunan
Ampel sent to study in makka . But , they must be stopped beforehand to meet
sheikh maulana ishaq , the real father of Raden Joko Samudro or nails .
Apparently, Sunan Ampel want to bring raden nail with his biological father . Finally ,
the father and son were met . After studying for seven years in Pasai to the sheikh
maulana ishaq , they returned to Java . At that moment , maulana ishaq equip raden
nails with a handful of soil and asked him to set up a boarding school in a place that
colors and smells the same as that given tanahanya . That piece of the story of the
