Apparently, Philippines really flourish from globalization, but together with these

progresses are emergence of negative impact that our country is also suffering. One of
the main downsides of globalization to the Philippines is so much dependence from other
nations, since our country is very open and was even colonized by multiple nations,
Philippines was not able to develop its economy independently at all. Because of our
strong dependence to other nations economy, we will also suffer if those bigger nations
will have an economical crisis. Furthermore, through globalization, Philippines was
strongly influenced by international market, our country strive so hard to cope up with the
advancements which dramatically changed the structure of our business from the
agricultural aspect to a more industrialized country that severely affected our local
farmers. Additionally, globalization affected the mindset of Filipino people to work in
different countries for better career, salary and wages than being in the Philippines,
because of this mindset there are lesser Filipinos thinking to pursue their career in our
country.
