energy companies in March 2020, and now only 1pcs has failed

01 High efficiency
Peak efficiency (@1000V 50% load) 96.5%, higher than average level at
least 1.5%, the real performance high efficiency achieved through the
following technologies

• 3rd generation SiC Mosfet (silicon carbide)

• LLC three-level topology

• The power conversion semiconductor and topology both have


features of high efficiency, by reducing power consumption during turn-
on/off(Mosfet switching), conduction, magnetic device loss

• According to EV charging, multi-modules co-working under load rate with
peak efficiency to reach the highest efficiency
• Algorithm adjusts the fan speed according to the heat dissipation requirement

For the scenario that an EV is charged with the remaining 20% power, a 360KW
charging stack, equipped with Sinexcel efficiency active optimization technology,
charging the EV in the highest efficiency point. The overall charging efficiency is
at less 95%

The energy company selected a third party to test Sinexcel’s public charging
station, the DC charger overall efficiency is 95%

S=P*N/(COSΦ *η )=(480*2)/(0.99*0.94)= 1032 kVA
SN =(Kx*S+10)/β m=(1032*0.75+10)/0.8 =980 kVA
Kx depends on charger utilization rate and actual operating number, which is usually within 0.5~0.8. 0.75 is chosen as the rate of
distributed charger is usually higher. 0.8 is chosen for βm. Se is the total load of electrical devices excluding chargers, consisting of
lamination, monitoring, etc.

Based on the above calculation, 1000kVA is recommended as the new transformer capacity for full power charging and other loads
with capacity reserved.
