Project Reflection

must provide evidence and adequate analysis showing how evidence supports your answer.

● In what ways has the cookies project helped you gain perspective on doing real world
mathematics?

It helps you if you have your own business the reason it helps is you can do your
own calculations to find the perfect amount of materials cost and time needed to make
the most profit. For example if you had 2 hours to make donuts and cookies and it takes
an hour for both so that one is pretty self explanatory but sometimes it can get a little
more difficult especially if you're trying to make multiple things. Another example would
be the cookies problem I’m making now you have 10 hours to make Cinnamon rolls and
Donuts, Cinnamon rolls take 40min to make a batch of 18 and it takes Donuts 2hrs
40min to make a batch of 18 and your trying to find a way to make at least $500 to keep
the doors open. Knowing how to organize your materials, money, and time in a business
and trying to find the best solution is a very big thing to keep your doors open.
