Dear Nurse Recruiter,

I am writing to express my interest in the Banner New Nurse Experience Program at Banner
University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. I am confident that my passion for excellent
client care, strong critical-thinking skills, and ability to provide individualized holistic client care
will make me the ideal candidate for this position.

I am graduating from the University of Arizona College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing in December of 2021. I am equipped with nursing skills that will allow me to provide
holistic empathetic care to a wide array of patients from different backgrounds. I have completed
my preceptorship experience on a medical oncology unit which totaled 180 hours of supervised
practice. I began my preceptorship assisting one nurse with one patient’s care and ended by
taking complete ownership of the care of six patients. The ability to stay organized and calm
allowed me to care for a high patient ratio. My dedication and passion for caring for others
allows me to strive to provide exceptional care for all patients.

I previously completed my intensive care clinical rotation on the Cardiovascular Intensive Care
Unit at Banner University Medical Center. During this time, I worked alongside many registered
nurses who provided quality care to patients to critically ill patients. These nurses were dedicated
to their patients. The environment at this facility is extremely focused on providing excellent
patient care to all clients at all stages of life.
