Spring has finally peaked out from
under the winter rock and daffodils
and forsythia are doing their thing
here in Amesbury. Just seeing them
join in praise to our almighty God
brings a smile to my face.
But even as most of us are thankful
for a blossoming spring, we also know
there is pain, suffering, and hurt at a
global level and in our own personal
lives as well. How wonderful to
remember Christ’s gentle reminder
to Martha that He is the focus, the
center, the one necessary thing.
It is our desire to share that bedrock
of conviction with New England that
prompts our Small Group Discipleship
Training. Session Two was this
weekend, and we were thrilled to hear
of how God is working in churches
to bring people to Christ. Please put
on your calendar September 17th,
where Dr. William Beasley and Canon
David Roseberry will join us for a
weekend of strategy, information
and encouragement when it comes
to small group discipleship. This is
one not to miss! Make it a party and
gather your small group, your friends,
your church leadership and carpool
for this highlight of our fall schedule.

Small Group Discipleship Training - September 17th
Our final Small Group Discipleship Training session is
highlighted by speakers The Rev. William Beasley (founding
rector of Church of the Resurrection, Chicago, IL) and The
Rev. Canon David Roseberry (founding rector of Christ
Church, Plano, TX). Both have been heavily involved in the
Anglican 1000 movement as well as bringing a wealth of experience in church
planting and church discipleship. More details on our website, but this is an
amazing opportunity for your church body to come together and listen and
learn, and see how God will use it to His glory!
