facility. As a recent nursing graduate with an Associate of Science in Nursing, I would like to

Throughout my academic career thus far, I have developed confidence, in-depth knowledge of
the nursing practice, patient safety, patient assessment and expectations, time management,
leadership, and effective communication skills. Although I was unable to attend clinical site
rotations due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, I was fortunate enough to have been given a safe and
effective alternative learning experience at my college’s state of the art simulation lab. I learned
a plethora of nursing skills with the guidance of my professors and learned how to effectively
work as a team with my classmates. 
I have an extensive background in providing care for others. My passion for nursing stems from
my innate drive to care for others. I spent 5 years working at a school for children with
developmental disabilities in Miami, FL and learned all aspects involved in aiding an individual
with daily living. I was given the honor of holding a position in assisting a child with a
developmental disability in her everyday life and provided her with a safe environment tailored
to her needs for her to independently strive to become her best self. 
I pride myself in my experience as well as all the valuable skill sets, I have gained thus far. I am
fluent in three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I am meticulously organized,
maintain time management, work well in teams, and utilize clear and concise communication to
connect with others.
