*What is development in organization?


Ans:- The study and application of strategies, systems, and techniques that effect organizational
transformation is known as organization development (OD). The purpose of which is to improve the
performance and/or culture of an organization. The group's stakeholders are usually the ones who start
organizational reforms. OD arose from human relations research in the 1930s, when psychologists
learned that organizational structures and processes have an impact on employee motivation and
behavior. Work on organizational learning, knowledge management, and the transformation of
organizational norms and values has lately extended to focus on aligning organizations with their fast
changing and complex contexts.

*What is the goal of training and development in an organization?


Ans:- Every day, in this competitive world where nothing stays the same, a new innovation enters the
market. This caused the company to become more dynamic in their business processes and to continue
to implement improvements in order to remain competitive in the market. But how can you compete in
the market and win? Your employees are the ones who will assist you stay competitive in the
marketplace. The business owner or HR manager must be proactive in seeking out new tactics that will
help the company expand in the future. Employees in large firms are usually given training to help them
make better use of their skills. They also understand the influence of training and development on the
organization. SME’s, on the other hand, do not see any value because they focus on every dollar spent
on the business. Employees don’t pay attention to projects during the training and development process
in order to attend training sessions. This may cause the project deadlines to be pushed back. Despite
this, a huge corporation’s boss is unconcerned, because as staff become more highly competent, the
process will be lot faster, and they will be more competitive in the market. Because there aren’t enough
skilled workers, the processes and tactics used will be delayed, and the quality may suffer as a result. It’s
part of the workplace’s performance management system. When technology changes in the market,
new strategies are implemented, resources or manpower changes, or new software or hardware is
utilized in projects, the employer must provide training to the employees so that they can understand
and use the new software or hardware in the projects. This develops individual talents while also raising
an organization’s performance level.

The main goals of development and training in the organization

• Reduce monitoring needs.
