8.5DATA STORAGE

8.5.1 FILE DATA STORAGE

All the historic shift data will be downloaded in the keyboard in dedicated files in .csv format.
The .csv files are text files that every single data is separeted by semicolon ( ; ). This feature will enable to open
the files with a software as MS Excel or OpenOffice, with each data already divided by row and column.
It will be created 3 different files: one Log, one with the production data and one with yarns breaks data.
The Log file could be named log.csv or, when the file is bigger than 1000 events, the name is
L_yyyymmdd_hhmmss.csv. This feature is valueable for all .csv files.
The shift production data file is named PC_X_yyyymmdd_hhmmss.csv. The X after the PC_ is the number of
shift.
The lot production data file is named Lot_Lotname_yyyymmdd_hhmmss.csv

Following are rappresented 3 examples of the .csv files.

Log file

Every row rappresent an event of machine running.

For each event the date ,the hour and a code will be recorded.

 10: ON main panel.
 20: Start machine.
 30: Stop machine.
o 51000 alarm stop
For what may concern the machine stop the operator can decide which cause to select, anyway in the file will
be recorded as code 30 immediateky at the stop. After the operator can select the stop cause.

 35: Stop machine by operator. One of the following are in extra field:
- 10: generic stop.
- 20: lot change.
- 30: travellers change.
- 40: clean.
- 50: maintenance.
- 60: fault.
- 70: cause #1.
- 80: cause #2.
- 90: cause #3.
 40: Machine on doff.
 50: Download new recipe; on extra field you have the name of the recipe.
 60: Hour change.
 70: Start auto creeling
 80: Spindles speed change; on extra field also the value of the speed.
 90: Steps speed change; on extra field a value that indicate which step:
- 1: beginning
- 2-11: step speeds
- 12: final
- 13: underwinding
- 14: speed reduction
- 15: super twist spindles speed
 100: Spinning machine alarm. Are always reported the 5 fields with the alarm code. 0 when the alarmi
s resetted.
 110: Auto doffer alarm. Are always reported the 3 fields with the alarm code. 0 when the alarmi has
reset.
 120: Auto creeling alarm. Are always reported the field with the alarm code. 0 when the alarm is
resetted.
 130: Lot change. The name of the activated loti s shown.

Production control: shift file

The file is componed by six rows, which they content respectly: shift number, real working time in seconds, total
machine stop time with power on in seconds, efficency (percentage multiplyed por 1000) total production by
meters and by grams.

Production control: lot file

 The file is componed by seven rows which they content respectly: date and hour of beginnings, lot name,
real working time in seconds, total machine stop time with power on in seconds, efficency (percentage
multiplyed por 1000) total production by meters and by grams.

 Beginning lot date and hour

 Lot name
 real working time in seconds: 7 hours 8 minuts, 8 minuti and 9 seconds
 total machine stop time with power-on in seconds: 1 h, 16 min, 18 s
 efficency, about 84,87%
 total production by meters, about 9560 km
 total production by grams, about 785 kg

8.5.2 USB - DATA STORAGE MANAGEMENT

All files .CSV can be copied to USB memory device.

Press to copy on USB memory device.

Press to copy on USB memory device and erase automatically the file from main panel SD card.
