    This research article studied the pathogenesis of canine parvovirus-2 in dogs by examining hematology, serology, and virus recovery. It found that the virus causes leukopenia and thrombocytopenia. Antibodies were detected an average of 14 days after infection. Virus shedding was observed in feces between 4 to 14 days post infection.
