In our genetics unit we have covered 4 different types of

genetics; simple, incomplete/codominant, multiple alleles,
and sex linked traits.

Simple genetics:
AA, Aa, aa

An example of simple genetics would be...

Here is an example punnett square cross...

Incomplete Dominance vs. Codominance

AA, BB, AB

In incomplete dominance traits will ___________ and with

codominance ________________.

An example of incomplete dominance would be ________

An example of codominance would be _______________

Here is an example punnett square cross.

Multiple alleles:
AA, Ac, BB, Bc, AB, cc

When we did multiple alleles not only did we have traits

that could be codominant, we also added back in
__________.
An example of multiple alleles would be ______________

Here is an example punnett square cross.

Sex-linked traits:
XAXA, XAXa, XaXa, XAY, Xay

Sex-linked traits are traits that are connected to the sex of

an offspring. In humans males they don’t have a chance to
cover up a recessive gene that is passed down from the
mother.
Three examples of sex-linked traits are
1.
2.
3.

There are a variety of genotypes for the traits. For

instance all of the available genotypes for males/females
for hemophilia would be…
