Research Ethics pertains to the moral principles or values that generally

governed the research process of an individual or group (Brown, 2015).

This research was subjected to the contributory factors that influence the
Eagerness of selected students of the Our Lady of FatimaUniversity. Ethics must be
applied when conducting a research it played a vital role in the process of
conducting a study. Researchers must uphold the responsibilities when conducting
a research particularly to the selected Students of the Ourlady of fatima university,
and the researchers must adhere to a high ethical standard. The researchers gave
the Informed Consent Form (ICF) accordingly, which was created by the World
Health Organization Research Ethics Review Committee (WHO RERC). It will inform
the respondents about the nature of the study in which they can contribute and
participate. The identification of the participants was also get by the researchers
during and after the data gathering and it is used only for academic purposes of
this particular research. The confidentiality of getting the data was maintained at
all times. The researchers also ensured that it is provided an option either to agree
or to disagree, among others ,such permit the respondents to have learnt an
intentional decision to agree in aswering the provided questionaire and to the
participating interview process.

The researchers gather the data from the selected students of The Our lady of
fatima unversity since they were experiencing online alternative class during this
pandemic. The fallowing were observed to maintain and provide a well balanced
set of standards and limitations to benefit fairly on this group of selected students,
First is the consent if they are willing to continue to participate or to withdraw to
run the process smoothly. Next is voluntary participation was employed, if the
respondents find that some questions is uncomfortable they are allowed to stop
answering and not to continue the data gathering process the data gathered from
them was protected under the Republic Act No. 10173, also
known as the Data Privacy Act’. Confidentiality is protecting the identifiable
information of the respondents from being discovered by others (Evergreen State
College, 2021). This will be additional for the researcher to ensure that they were
capable accesing the information and after the period of time storage, data
gatherd from them/respondents. The data that was collected from there were
destroyed and deleted, with the applied precuations , exploitation, especially from
the vulnerable population was prevented. According to RA 10173 (Data Privacy
Act), Sec. 8 “Confidentiality- The Commission ensured at all times the
confidentiality of any personal information that comes to its knowledge and
possession.”

The researchers ensured that the personal information obtained from the
respondents will not be made available to others without their consent. . To futher
protect the students’ information profiles, the researchers make sure that only the
name and Gsuit account should be colected since the student respondents are
from the same school. The researchers filtered the details (names, sections, and
currently enrolled in) to ensure the credentials were not misinterpreted for
secured record-keeping and to secure the data from malicious unqualified
individuals. Also the respondents privacy were secured by the study team. The
researchers also provided informed consent for those who hadled and had access
to the data thaw were gathered from the respondents. These include the research
adviser, research team, dean and clinical instructor. After the research conducted
the data were destroyed as well as the documents, and personal information. The
research were guaranteed the right to self determination. Autonomy is a norm
that instructs the researchers to respect the respondents’ decision (Jahn, 2011) all
the student participants gave their consent voluntarily without coercion or undue
influence, their dignity and rights were respected and protected. With the aid of
inform consent an acceptance letter and withdrawal letter were also provided. It
will be the proof that their participation was voluntary. They were also feel free to
decline or withdraw from the the research study that they were participated to
any time without any questions being asked. The researchers ensured that the
respondents received
the information outlining the nature of the study, its benefits, as well as its risks,
which enabled them to make an informed decision.

Beneficence is the obligation to promote the interests and well-being of others. It

refers to the ethical concept of "doing good" in its broadest sense (Brown, 2015).
The researchers make sure that the respondents understood the risk of the
research without any expectations og going beyond what has been agreed with the
latter. The researchers ensured thet there were no possible emotional or
psychological risk in this research study, they also ensured that no one was
harmed, nor risk happened to the part of the respondents in any way, since the
research question asked the student respondents to share their personal reasons,
the possibility of making them feel uncomfortable and embarass was likely.
The questionaire that were provided were just only for educational purposes the
survey, as well as the questions provided and it was not intended to embarass nor
make the respondents feel uncomfortable, if the respondents doesn’t want to
continue they can skip the answering any of the interview and survey questions.
The respondents were not obligated to state their reason on why they were unable
to respond to any of the situations or participate in this study because the
respondents have the right to withdraw at any time if they feel uncomfortable. All
ethical principles were adhered to all individuals that were involved by the
research, whether directly or indirectly.

It is important to submit the research ethics to the research ethics committee upon
to its complition to ensure the safety and privacy of the respondents.
This helped in meeting high ethical standards expected by society. These ethical
standards stated were carried out by the researcher during the duration of the
research study.

Financial Advantage. Many students leave college with massive student loan debt or limit
their study in order to save money. Scholarships, on the other hand, are free money, so
students may concentrate on their professions rather than worrying about how they will pay
back their loans. This permits students to enter occupations that need postgraduate training,
like as law or medicine, or pursue jobs in public service or other fields that may not pay well.
Scholarships make education and professional ambitions more accessible by reducing
financial barriers. 2016 (Mahuron)
