Dear Mr. Chen Shang,

With the intention of promotes school atmosphere and encourages better behaviors of students, a
new dress code that will be enforced on all Midway County Public Schools.

A higher standard of dress promotes a more serious school atmosphere which emphasizes
academics, consequently, improves grades, while it reduces tardiness, skipped classes and
suspensions. It also encourages greater respect for individuals, students and others, and results in
a higher standard of behavior.

The following dress code guidelines indicate appropriate school dress during normal school
days for every student.

Hair and makeup Shorts

Hair must be neat and clean with All shirts must be tucked in and
no "unnatural" colors. Hair that is purchased from the designated
distracting to the educational uniform company with the school’s
setting may not be allowed. logo.
Bottoms Shoes
Students must wear uniform Khaki All shoes must have a closed toe
or Navy bottoms (shorts, slacks, and back. We recommend sneakers
