6.1 POLYBAG – TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Polybag = plastic bag enclosing the Unit pack or number of pieces per bag (see the 1ste page of the
Purchase order)
Note : Technical properties of Individual Polybag are available for Master Polybag
For all types of packages without exception
• 1 single Unit Pack per product reference.
• The Unit Pack must also be respected for incomplete packages.
Please contact the Quality Service if the Unit Pack mentioned on the purchase order is not
compatible with the above listed rules.
Characteristics of the polybag

1 - Dimensions of the bag
To adjust:
a) to the folding and the volume of the product and
b) to the Unit Pack
NB (important) - maximal dimension of folded product and closed polybag included must be maximum
58cm x 38cm.
( example ; trousers folded in two , outwear folded in two before packaging,
packaging shirts folded in two,

6.2 POLYBAG - EAN 13 BARCODES
The reference on the tag is CBP 13 and the barcodes designate an EAN 13.

EAN13 must be stuck for HOMOGENE orders on all plastic covers and polybags

6.3 CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BOXES
ESSENTIALS
QUALITY OF THE CARTON:
• Triple carving/groove, or (a)
• Double reinforced groove (resin) (b)
RESISTANCE OF THE BOX :
Technical Data: 40 KG
Minimum double reinforced groove with density of minimum 1kg/m²
The Supplier must check at least once per season the quality and the resistance of the boxes which
are delivered to him.
Any crushed, curved, non-resistant packaging or non compliant to the Suppliers’ guide can be the
subject of a refusal at departure and arrival of the goods.
WARNING
Separate Carton into box are forbidden except for Shoes and Belts (See chapter 8.6 and Chapter 9).
Thanks to ask to your charge in quality if necessary.
If empty space into boxes, please modify dimension of boxes, no paper in boxes to avoid empty
space.
Staples are FORBIDDEN.

6.4 LABELLING BARCOD EAN128
A. VISUAL AND LOCATION OF BARCODES
Tag reference CBC128, designation of the barcode EAN128:
EAN128 : for all order types
• Barcode EAN 128 = 14 numbers, code 128
• Identification of the box
• Barcodes printed in black on a white surface.
• Intended for automatic and manual reading

This sticker is only available for HOMOGENE orders.
For ASSORTI Orders, thanks to NOT add Color and Size

of the box, and/or the folding mentioned in the purchase file and already proposed by supplier,

6.6 FOLDING FOR PACKING IN THE BOX

Packaging «upside down» for shirts with collar.
• Optimize maximum filling of the box without compressing the product or filling empty spaces
with paper.
• Do not place any product vertically in the box

• All products in homogenous packages must be packed with an individual polybag.
(Unit Pack = UP) and without Master polybag
• Respect the dimensions of the boxes
• Optimize maximum filling of the box without compressing the product nor filling the
empty spaces with paper
• Do not place any product vertically in the box.

6.8 MARKING OF THE BOXES
A. SHIPPING MARK – MARKING OF THE BOXES
Shipping Mark = order information

All information is available on the purchase order and packing list:
• Ref:

Col Colours;
• T: SIZES(s);
• Package Type (standard / standard multi / assortment / mix / homogeneous);
• CTN:
CTN Box number on the total number of boxes of the order;

Position of the Shipping Mark:

Mark on all 4 sides of the package, printed on the box or glued.
Recommended size of the Shipping Mark for HOMOGENE Orders:

B. ADHESIVE TAPE «ML»
The «ML» adhesive tape ensures that the box has not been opened between the factory and the
warehouse. This adhesive tape must:
• close all the boxes (see chart below);
• size of the text: minimum 3 cm (recommended font: Arial, size of the font: 90 pt).
• width of the adhesive tape: minimum 6 cm
• colour of the text and the adhesive tape: free of choice
Neutral tapes are FORBIDDEN or tapes

C. STICKERS «INCOMPLETE» AND «EXPORT»
INCOMPLETE : Only Homogene Orders (packing list). The other types of orders must
mandatory correspond to the quantities specified in the purchase order
EXPORT : Specific Orders for export only (see page 1 of the Purchase order):
• size of the text: minimum 5 cm (font recommended: Arial, size of the font: 150 pt).
• width of the tape: minimum 7 cm
• colour of the text: red
• colour of the tape: white
• place on the 2 opposite edges or as closure strip
• CAUTION:
CAUTION do not cover up other marking on the box

D . PANTS ORDER STICKER
Only for pants orders
4 colours:
L30 = RED
L32 = GREEN
L34 = BLUE

E. STICKERS «NP» AND «NH»
«NP» = NEW PRICE:
• If there is a price change, «NP» will be stickered on the two small sides of the box
• Red Sticker with a Diameter : 8 cm
• CAUTION do not cover any other markings on the box
«NH» = NEW CLOTHING:

• If there is a change in the clothing during or at the end of a season, a sticker «NH» will be
applied on the two small sites of the box.
• Orange Stick
• Diameter of the sticker: 8 cm
• CAUTION do not cover any other markings on the box

F. STICKER OR STAMP «RF»
• From season Winter14
• RF must be stuck or printed on the 4 sides of boxes. (block letter well visible)
• You have to put a RF sticker on polybag for homogeneous order
• You have to put a RF sticker on boxes of all orders.
• For all hang up/GOH orders, you have to put a RF sticker : only on Master polybag for
Standard orders, and on each Individual polybag for Homogene orders.

G. STICKERS «NEW MASTER PACK »

• If there is a change of Master Pack, a WHITE sticker will be stuck on the two small sides of
the box.
