Reflection Paper
The 21st century skills which are categorized into learning, literacy, and life skills are critically important in today’s world. The relevance of
learning these sets of abilities and skills are what students need to develop in order to succeed in this information-based economy. The students
also need to have these skills to think deeply about issues, to solve problems creatively, to work in teams, to communicate thoughts and ideas
clearly, to learn ever-changing technologies, and to deal with a bulk of information. Arming these young people with these skills makes them face
the rapid changes and challenges in the academe and the society.

It is critical for a teacher to be creative, imaginative, and resourceful. He or she must be sincere, committed, and knowledgeable about current
teaching tools and tactics. It is critical to obtain knowledge and skills as a 21 st century teacher. As the phrase goes “You cannot give what you
do not have”. This course challenged me to learn/know how I can improve my weaknesses and find ways to improve my strengths. Even
though at first, I was hesitant and nervous about it because of feedbacks I heard about other teachers. Still, I will do my best to complete this
course.
Crafting the Personal Lifelong Learning Plan was not a single day task. It made me think of it from time to time, reflecting on the things I need
to improve day by day. It delivered me deeper into my internal self where I think about the attributes I have and ought to have so that I can
strongly face and cope with the challenges of the current century. The KSAVs that I am getting to know from this course contributed notably in
reconfiguring my visions approximately my personal and professional growth. And I am much motivated to learn, and relearn things.

I know there will be challenges in the implementation of the plan. There will be changes of schedules or focusing more on other things to
prioritize or even lack of support from family, colleagues, or stakeholders and even lack of resources. But these are normal in every situation,
challenges can be conquered with clear direction coupled with determination and motivation in implementing the Personal Life Long learning
plan(PLLP). I will and I can achieve my goals and become an effective 21 st century teacher.
