SBI SO Notification 2019-20

State Bank of India invites Online applications from Indian citizens for
appointment in Specialist Cadre (SBI PO 2019-20) for experienced Bankers
in State Bank of India. Candidates are requested to apply online for the post
on the bank’s website.As per a recent notification update for Specialist
Officers on the official website of State Bank of India, there is 1 vacancy for
the post of Chief Technology Officer and one for the post of Deputy General
Manager (E&TA).

SBI SO 2019 Selection Procedure

The official notification for the recruitment process says that the selection
will be based on shortlisting and interview. Mere fulfilling minimum
qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidate for being
called for interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will
decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of
candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for
interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview
shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.Merit List:
Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of
scores obtained in interview only. In case more than one candidate score the
cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be
ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.

SBI SO 2019 Application Fees

Application fees and Intimation Charges (Non-refundable) is 600/- ( Six


Hundred only) for General and OBC candidates and 100/- ( One hundred
only) for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

Chief Manager (Cost Accountant)

Age: Min – 30 year, Max – 45 years

Vacancy: 1

Educational Qualification: CA/ICWA from recognised Board. Preference was


given to candidates who are B.Tech/BE (CSE /IT) / MCA/ M.Sc., (CS/IT)
from a recognized University/Institution prior to CA/ICWA.

Experience & Skill Set: This excludes training and teaching experience. Min.
7 years’ of industry experience in the field of activity-based costing/
technology consultancy/ cost centre accounting. Preference was given to
candidates having experience in association with major IT projects in
banking industry / Fis.

Digital System Architect

Age upper limit: 40 years

Educational Qualification: Engineering Graduate in Computer Science/


Information Technology / Electronics or MCA/MSc (IT) / MSc (Computer
Science) with first class grade from Govt Recognised University / Institute.

Experience & Skill Set: This excludes training and teaching experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Architecture of web and mobile
applications. Good knowledge of applications and infrastructure. Preferred:
Candidates with in-depth experience in Enterprise Java, XML, APIs and
related technologies; Knowledge for Hybrs, Magento, Adobe, Bluemix,
Webframe work and other digital platforms.

System / Business Analyst

Age upper limit: 40 years

Educational Qualification: Engineering graduate in Computer Science/


Information Technology/ Electronics or MCA/M.Sc.(IT)/ Msc. (Computer
Science) with MBA in System / Finance/ Operations or equivalent
qualification from reputed Institute.

Experience & Skill Set: This excludes training and teaching experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Business Analyst role. Preferred:
Candidates from Financial services IT captive organisations.

Analyst (Analytics)

Age upper limit: 35 years

Educational Qualification: Degree in Statistics or equivalent qualification

UX Designer

Age upper limit: 35 years
