1. Define electrical network. Explain the classification of electrical network.


2. State Ohm’s law. Explain series and parallel connection of resistors.

5. Explain KVL and KCL for electrical circuit analysis.
6. Explain the steps in mesh analysis with one example.
7. Justify the need of star-delta conversion and explain the steps for the
conversion.
8. State superposition theorem and explain the steps to analyse superposition
theorem.
9. State Thevenin’s theorem and explain the steps to analyse superposition
theorem.

16. What is phasor diagram ? Explain phasor representation.
17. Explain series RL circuit with circuit diagram and phasor diagram.
18. In a series RL circuit, where e(t) = 300 V, R = 200, XL = j100. Find the
total current in the circuit. Find the voltage drops across R and L. Verify KVL
around the circuit. Draw a phasor diagram showing e, vR, vL and iT. Sketch
the voltage waveforms.
19. Explain series RC circuit with circuit diagram and phasor diagram.
20. Explain series RLC circuit with circuit diagram and phasor diagram.
