The important of Filipino Food Guide Pyramid in relation to our


personal healthy diet consumption A well-balanced diet is essential for
good health. Pick your food using the "Healthy Eating Food Pyramid" as a
guide and to make our healthy diet become safe. According to the Healthy
Eating Food Pyramid, we have to eat a variety of foods among all food
groups as well as within each group in order to get different nutrients and
meet our daily needs.

3. How often do we need to intake nutritional supplements such as


vitamins and minerals and why do we need to take it?

Nutritional supplements, on the other hand,


should be taken on a regular basis. It will aid in the
prevention of many ailments as well as strengthening
our immune system. But before we have to take
supplements, we have to consider these five major
criteria: Is the supplement complete? Is it balanced? Is
it potent? How is its bioavailability? How secure and
safe is the supplement? On the contrary, it is not a
smart practice to take supplements simply when we are
not feeling well.
