1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Purpose
This document contains a collection of technical data about the vessel Olympic Commander. The data has been
collected from various technical documentation.

Cautionary Statement: This handbook is used to provide a single source of key data collated from a large number of
separate source documents/drawings. All data provided herein is believed to be correct but not guaranteed, and
subject to change without notice. Anyone whom use this data to make critical assumptions or decisions, should
request the Vessel Manager to confirm any critical data or to check independent sources. Neither Olympic Subsea

The deck strength is: 10 t/m2, aft from frame 84. 5 t/m2, frame 84 – 109.

4.3 T-bars
The deck is arranged with a pattern of D-links which are approved for 10 t and transeverse and longitudinal T-bars. All
T-bars are in line with supporting structure. The longitudinal and transverse structure are approved by DNVGL.

4.4 Stern Removable Bulwark Section

• There are four lifting points on the stern gate. Two on the outside and two on the inside.
• Stern section includes a chemical and paint store.
• Electrical cables for lights, fire sensors etc. needs to be disconnected before removal
• Use a 4 parts chain lifting gear with hooks
• Ensure that all bolts are removed before lifting
• Shore side crane has to be used for removal of “Stern section” as the Offshore crane will not have sufficient
reach for removal
