2.1 General
4.1 General
• There are four lifting points on the stern gate. Two on the outside and two on the inside.
• Stern section includes a chemical and paint store.
• Electrical cables for lights, fire sensors etc. needs to be disconnected before removal
• Use a 4 parts chain lifting gear with hooks
• Ensure that all bolts are removed before lifting
• Shore side crane has to be used for removal of “Stern section” as the Offshore crane will not have sufficient
reach for removal
