Moving Full Oil Drums date: 18-Sep-17

When moving empty oil storage containers and

find an oil drum that is blocking access to the
totes make sure that the drum is moved correctly.

1 Check to see if the drum is full or empty

2 If the drum is empty it can be moved by hand.

If the drum is full do not attempt to move it by Follow steps 4~7 to make sure
3 hand. it is moved correctly.

Moving the drum with the forks

4 The drum is not to be moved with the forklift forks. could cause damage to the
drum. See pic.2

When moving full oil drums the oil drum trucks are
5 the correct way to move them.

Before moving make sure that the plugs in the top

6 of the drum are tightened.
When using the oil drum trucks make sure that the
7 lock is in place before moving.
