Water baptism is an act of belief and obedience to Christ's commands. It is a declaration that you are
Jesus Christ's follower and a public confession of your faith and commitment to him. The next step after
salvation through repentance and faith and is an important foundation for the Christian life. It is a
symbol of your new life as a Christian. We bury the ‘old life’ and we rise to walk in a ‘new life’.
Baptism is like a wedding ring, it is the outward symbol of the commitment you made in your heart, a
commitment that has to be followed through and lived out on a daily basis.

- A youth of BCIF Banate have decided to commit her life to the King
Christ Jesus on November 28, 2020. She has stated that,

“bilang isa ka Kristohanon kag may isa ka iloy nga Kristohanon, napush
akon heart nga magpabaptise. Kag gusto ko man syempre ifollow si Jesus
kay maski Sya mismo nagset as example para sa aton nga magpabaptize man.
Bali sa mind ko, once I am baptized it is a wonderful opportunity to declare
my new-found faith in Christ kag new life in Him.

She stated that: “Part of our
Christian Life is to submit our life sa
Ginoo, so why nga a nagdecide ako nga
mag pa baptism? It’s because na feel ko
sa tagipusuon ko nga need ko gd kag
willing ko isubmit ang life ko sa Ginoo.”

fully submit our everything to the Lord and be renewed through
baptism.”
