November Monthly Meeting

Wednesday 10th 2021 at 7.30pm

High Wycombe Cricket Club

1.Diane welcomed 35 members, introduced our 2 new members, Wendi and Christiana and
welcomed our visitor Sue Brown.

2. Apologies for absence, Tracey, Jean, Claire A and Kathleen.

3.Diane asked us to give any contributions we had brought for next months Christmas
hamper and any £5 vouchers for Womens Refuge, to Marion.

4.Diane described this evenings activity, Glass Bauble Decoration. She gave a great
demonstration of how we could personalise the baubles that would be hung on our
Christmas tree, in All Saints Church High Wycombe, during Christmas Tree Festival.

5. We spent time choosing from all the many items Diane had kindly brought, to make our
individual decorated baubles. The theme suggested was, displaying in our baubles the
activities we had enjoyed during lockdown. These baubles were then collected to keep safe
til needed for the decoration of our W.I.Christmas Tree.

6. Refreshments were enjoyed.

7. Diane informed us that our December activity Belly Dancing, had been cancelled. Instead
there would be a Christmas Party. An e mail would be sent with more information. Wearing
a Christmas jumper, anything Christmassy was encouraged.

8. Diane reminded us to bring money next month if we would like to buy raffle tickets for
the Christmas Hamper, which would be drawn that eve. Also any £5 vouchers we wanted to
donate to Womens Refuge this Christmas.

9. Marion thanked everyone for their generous donations this eve to the Christmas hamper
and vouchers for Womens Refuge.
10. Helen reminded everyone of the Coffee & Card activity she leads, every Tuesday at
12noon and 7.30pm. Everyone very welcome.

11. Diane ended the meeting at 9.30pm. Thanking everyone for coming.
