DRESSED SKY COLORS

The Monteria sky was colorful dressed again on Sunday March 15 with a new version of
the traditional “El Meridiano de Córdoba Kite Festival” . The event held as part of the
celebration of the 20th birthday of the newspaper, as is usual, attractive prizes were handed
to the winners. As in previous years, the Festival gathered the Cordoba’s family with a
recreational and competitive evening filled with both small and big kites, music and a lot
of fun.
Despite inclement weather students, parents, families, teachers, in general the entire
educational community had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with the family, which is
of great importance to our institution since this opens a space to integrate and bring the
educational environment to the context in which our students share their daily lives.
This time we had the chance again to win the first place in the category of schools in
Monteria with more participation in the event. All this is due to the great commitment with
students and parents with the institution and linked to each of the processes that take place
here, for which a significant learning process will be obtained by the students.
Since three in the afternoon the sky dressed in colors, starting the flight of different kites
that attended the place, for which El Meridiano de Córdoba Newspaper raised a big kite in
celebration of its twenties who wore the colors of the colombian flag
Significantly, there were many institutions that participated in the event. One was “Los
Colores Mega school”, Santa Maria Institution , Santa Isabel and could not be missed our
Institution World Vision. Likewise special guests were presented, including animated
puppets "Chilindrina and Chavo del Ocho" which was a fun presentation that allowed all
attendees have a good time: which left a teaching "friendship is essential. No to violence”.
"Reggaeton groups were also presented: Dady Yankee and Vasquez, among others.
