1. Media Literacy
Media literacy refers to the ability of a person to identify the different messages that media
tries to send. This may be through print media or digital media. Media literacy helps us
understand a certain topic, and contribute on that topic along the way. This enables us to give
critical assessments regarding a topic of interest

2. Media Literate Individual


Enables people to interpret and make informed judgments as users of information and media,
as well as to become skillful creators and producers of information and media messages in their
own right.

3. Media and Information Literacy


Media and Information Literacy (MIL), defined as the ability to access, analyze, and create
media, is a prerequisite for citizens to realize their rights to freedom of information and
expression.

The most important use is that you can get information and education from the internet. It
provides us with various sites and various blogs that give us informative content which helps us
in our studies. It also helps people learn various things and people get knowledge on which they
apply in their daily life.
2. How did the government help its citizens to become more media and information
literate?
The government assists its citizens in becoming more media and information literate. Literacy is
promoted by providing open information about what is going on in our country. The
government is educating the public about what is going on around us by involving the media.

3. What makes people, in general, a media and information literate?


Individuals must be able to recognize whether information is true or false and better yet know
how to locate, evaluate, use, and communicate information in various formats; this is called
information literacy.
